But we need not have to deal with all of these. As a beginner, you will just need the basic type of auctions. There are two different kinds of auto auctions. One is online vehicle auction and the other, real or live vehicle auction. As the name suggests, online auctions are done through the internet and the other one, live vehicle auction is done in person.

While attending a live auto auction, you should make sure that you are participating one that is exclusively meant for the particular type of vehicle you are looking for. For instance, if you are looking for a car, then go to an auction that is meant solely for cars. With this you can have a plenty of choices to choose from.

Having read the whole process, let’s check the payment methods. The simplest method involved is pay by cash. It is the easiest way of paying in an auction. But you should ensure that you are having enough cash to buy the car of your choice ready with you. Before the auction starts you will be invited to have a close look at the cars. This session is often referred to as inspection session or sneak peeks. At this point of time you may estimate the cost involved. When you attend the auction, you can take enough amount of money with you. While handling over your money, do it carefully.

Credit cards are another option that you can have. This is in fact the most common mode of payment. With this you need not have to worry about taking suitcases full of money to the auction centre.  You can even use a debit card to purchase a used car from an auto auction. Another method of payment is to give checks. At some cases this may not be practical. Some banks insist that you should not give checks for a small amount. But checks are inconvenient as it involves a delay in the process of delivery.

Now you can go for an auto auction and have a car of your’s own.
