If a car auction is held in America then it would be based on some particular area. The first phase of the action would be the test drive. You will be provided an opportunity to drive the cars which are currently being auctioned. This drive is known as test drive and also known as test drive period. If you want to take part in the auction and want to bid on a certain car, now there is an wonderful offer to test drive that particular car. You can decide whether you need it or not. The basic thing is that you should have a driving license. What you should do is go to the office or reception there would be the main place for auction to get the car keys.

In American auction if you want to bid on a car then you would be provided with a ticket number. Then you will be allocated with a different seat where you can sit back and have a look at the car which you want to bid. You can watch the cars which are available for auction; they would be driven one by one.

American auction and bidding:

Now the auctioneer work starts, he opens the auction by saying “ so who is going to start the bidding cycle, start bid of $800”,  If people are interested in that particular car then they can raise the bid. If not the auctioneer will wait for a while and then reduce the amount up to $100 or so. It would be reduced until there is a bidder who accepts it at that particular price according to their ability.

How to win the car or cars

If you have won the car, then you are provided with a ticket number. You should produce the tickets, the won ticket and the ticket which you got for bidding at the reception. Then you will be given the options for payment, you can pay the full balance of the car. Visa or credit cards are the common ways of payment by most of the people. After the payment the bidder can take the car with him. He is solely responsible for the insurance of the car he won.
